Norwich City won’t sell Max Aarons for a penny less than £35 million amid reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Manchester United and Bayern Munich, as reported by Sky Sports.

Daniel Farke’s side may have finished well adrift at the bottom of the Premier League last season but there was always a feeling that, if they kept hold of their best players, Norwich wouldn’t be away from the top flight for long.

And, with Emi Buendia, Teemu Pukki and Todd Cantwell shining in the Championship alongside the human express train that is Aarons, the Canaries are flying high in the automatic promotion positions.

Aarons has maintained the sort of form that saw him catch the eye of Barcelona last summer.

So much so, according to Sky, Norwich are already attempting to keep his many suitors at arm’s length by slapping a £35 million price tag on the head of their roadrunner right-back.

The report adds Manchester United have been scouting Aarons for a number of months while European champions Bayern Munich – who are expected to sign Omar Richards from Reading – are keen on a second Championship full-back.

It’s no secret Everton also want a new right-sided defender to take over from 32-year-old Seamus Coleman (TEAMtalk). Meanwhile at Tottenham, neither Matt Doherty nor Serge Aurier have managed to nail down a starting spot under Jose Mourinho.

EuroSport suggests Aarons could replace Aurier in north London.

A £35 million fee would see the Norwich youngster replace Ollie Watkins as the most expensive Championship export in history.
