Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are among the clubs who could make moves for Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles, according to The Daily Mirror.
The newspaper claims Arsenal have made Maitland-Niles available for transfer, despite his impressive performance in Saturday’s FA Cup final win against Chelsea.
The 22-year-old started out as a central midfielder, but has played much of his football for the Gunners at right-back.
And the latter is a position in which Tottenham are expected to strengthen amid reports that Kyle Walker-Peters is set for a permanent move to Southampton and could be followed out of Spurs by Serge Aurier.
Everton’s interest in Maitland-Niles would also make sense, with Djibril Sidibe’s loan ending and Seamus Coleman now in his thirties – although Jonjoe Kenny is now back at Goodison Park, at least for the time being.

Given their rivalry with Tottenham, Arsenal could favour Everton or Brighton and Albion – the other club mentioned in The Daily Mirror‘s report – as destinations for their England Under-21 international.
But the Gunners can, of course, only sell to those who make suitable offers.
