The report claims that Glasgow Rangers remain confident of keeping the youngster despite Tottenham being one of seven sides reportedly interested.
Tottenham Hotspur are among the latest trio of Premier League clubs to be linked with a move for Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour, the Daily Record reports.
The Daily Mirror reported yesterday that four sides from England’s top flight – including Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal – were already hoping to land the 15-year-old’s signature, and travelled to the Victory Shield tournament specifically to watch Gilmour in action.
Gilmour is being touted as one of the brightest prospects coming through at Ibrox
But while the Record suggests that the Gers are confident of keeping the prospect at Ibrox by making it clear to him that they hope to have him in and around the first-team within the next 18 months, it appears that their task of staving off interest has now become tougher.
The Record reports that Tottenham, Everton and Southampton are now also monitoring the youngster’s progress closely as they each look to bolster their academy ranks.

Although the Light Blues are hopeful of keeping Gilmour at Murray Park, the Record suggests that it may not be too difficult for the English teams to lure him away.
The starlet’s deal with Rangers runs until the end of the season, but the likes of Tottenham and Everton could make their move once he turns 16, and the Record suggests that a deal could be done for as little as £100,000.
