Erik Lamela is an important player for Tottenham Hotspur.

Lamela, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has a contract with Tottenham until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
It has been reported by Gianlucadimarzio.com that Spurs and the 26-year-old have started discussions over a new deal which could run until 2021 or 2022.
Good move?
Lamela is one of the best players at Tottenham, and when the former River Plate star is fit, then he can be a handful for opposition teams.
The attacker has been on the books of Spurs since the summer of 2013 when he joined from Italian club AS Roma for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £25.8 million.

There have been injury problems for the Argentina international, but the 26-year-old – who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has progressed steadily over the past few years.
Given how good Lamela is and how much he has improved, it would make sense for Tottenham to hand the Argentina a new deal.
