Jovic has caught the eye of Spurs and Chelsea after starring at German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato claim Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are keeping an eye on striker Luka Jovic, as the Serbian hitman continues to shine in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Just 20 years of age, Jovic joined Frankfurt in the summer on a season-long loan from Portuguese giants Benfica, where he has a contract until the summer of 2021. Frankfurt have an option to make the deal a permanent one.
Already earning two Serbia caps, Jovic is making waves and certainly did just that when scoring five in one game against Fortuna Dusseldorf last time out in a 7-1 win.
He has nine goals in 10 games in total, as he continues to lead the line for Frankfurt and now a move to the Premier League could be on the cards if he continues to find the back of the net on a regular basis.
Spurs are likely to be after a striker in the next window, as Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen continue to fail in their bid to provide satisfactory back-up to Harry Kane. Chelsea are also in need.
Alvaro Morata has failed to live upto his transfer fee, while Olivier Giroud is used here and there. Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi have both been allowed to leave the club on loan.
It remains to be seen if either Premier League club will land his signature, though a move is unlikely to go ahead with his loan at Frankfurt finishing at the end of the season. Benfica may even want to keep Jovic, based on his current form.
It is worth noting, though, that the Daily Mail claimed back in 2015 that Tottenham were scouting 17-year-old Jovic at previous club Red Star Belgrade, before he joined Benfica for £6million.
