Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have made contact regarding RB Salzburg midfielder Amadou Haidara, according to France Football.

However, London duo Tottenham and Chelsea will reportedly face competition from RB Leipzig.

France Football has claimed that Leipzig have already contacted their sister club RB Salzburg in order to secure the services of the 20-year-old midfielder.

It has been reported that Salzburg want Mali international as a replacement for 23-year-old Guinea international Naby Keita, who is going to Liverpool this summer.

Haidara is a very talented and promising young midfielder who has progressed well in recent years.

The youngster has experience of playing in the Champions League and in the Europa League, and he would be a good signing for Tottenham.

However, Spurs could face stiff competition for the youngster, with Chelsea and Leipzig also claimed to be interested in signing the 20-year-old.
