Suso wants a new deal at Serie A powerhouses AC Milan with Premier League duo Spurs and Arsenal monitoring the situation.

Fernandez Suso of AC Milan celebrates his goal during the Serie A match between AC Milan and Cagliari Calcio at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on August 27, 2017 in Milan, Italy.

AC Milan have no intention of extending the contract of Spanish winger Suso with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal circling, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.

The former Liverpool youngster has blossomed into one of Serie A’s most feared attackers during his time at the San Siro and he has impressed again this season with Gennaro Gattuso’s side well-placed to secure a long-awaited return to the Champions League.

Suso has scored six goals and provided a further seven assists. This form has apparently caught the eye of Tottenham, according to The Mirror, while TMW have also backed up their interest.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are interested in triggering his £35 million release clause while North London rivals Arsenal are also reported to be keen.

And, according to TMW, Suso could be free to leave this summer. The 25-year-old is currently under contract until 2022 but he wants a new, improved deal which would see his wages increase by around £2 million a year.

TMW, however, claims that Milan are unconvinced that Suso is deserving of a pay rise and would even be willing to sell him if they receive a suitable offer, even one that is slightly below his £35 million release clause.

Food for thought, then, for Tottenham and Arsenal.
