Monaco are determined not to sell Tottenham and Arsenal target.

Monaco are digging in over keeping France winger Thomas Lemar amid serious interest from Premier League clubs.

The Mirror report Arsenal have enquired after Lemar, and been quoted a staggering price of £80 million, more than twice any previous valuation.

French newspaper L’Equipe reported earlier this summer that Tottenham Hotspur were also interested, and until recently they were favourites with SkyBet for his signature.

Now Monaco’s valuation of the winger is likely to mean he is going nowhere.

Lemar scored 14 goals last season and provided 14 assists as he helped Monaco win the Ligue 1 title.

This could just be posturing from Monaco, but they are a wealthy club who do not need the cash.

They have already sold Bernardo Silva this summer and Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to join Chelsea.

While sales are inevitable, they are trying to keep the core of their side together, and Lemar is clearly one player who along with Kylian Mbappe, they are determined to hang onto.
