The Trabzonspor ace is attracting attention from Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

Turkey's Yusuf Yazici controls the ball during the FIFA World Cup 2018 qualification football match between Kosovo and Turkey in Loro Borici stadium in the city of Shkoder on June 11, 2017.

According to Turkish media outlet Sporx, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City are locked in a three-way battle to sign Trabzonspor youngster Yusuf Yazici in the summer.

An attacking midfielder by trade, the 21-year-old has really impressed for his club this season, chalking up five goals and four assists in 25 Super Lig outings.

Yazici’s playing style has been compared to that of Gunners ace Mesut Ozil, and if he goes on to reach the levels of the German, he could turn out to be a superb signing for whichever club wins the race for his signature.

Turkish publication Sporx claim that the three Premier League rivals are all keeping tabs on the Turkey international’s progress, and will send scouts to watch him in action for his club against Galatasaray on Sunday.

Yazici is still very young, and obviously has a lot to learn at the very highest level, but his wonderful technical ability, combined with an already impressive understanding of the game makes him an ideal fit for any of the teams believed to be interested in acquiring his signature.

The 21-year-old is under contract with Trabzonspor until the summer of 2022, and is valued at £6.75 million, according to Transfer Markt, a fee that would represent excellent value in today’s market.
