Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to seal a deal for Davinson Sanchez.
Ajax have so far been firm that they do not wish to sell, but Di Marzio reports that Tottenham have been pushing hard to push through the transfer.
It is claimed Ajax could be convinced at 40 million Euros – which equates to £36.3 million, which would be a record fee for Spurs to pay.

The Guardian reported yesterday that Sanchez has told Ajax of his wish to join Tottenham.
So far Ajax are yet to cede to Tottenham’s wishes, and Ajax Showtime report that the Colombian is expected in at training this morning.

Sanchez is a centre-back who could join former Ajax pair Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld in forming a dominant back three at Tottenham.
Tottenham have yet to make any transfers yet this summer – buying Sanchez for a record fee will quickly dispel the doubters who have criticised their ‘lack of ambition’ so far in the transfer window.
