According to talkSPORT‘s Deadline Day Live Blog (17:01), Tottenham and Swansea have agreed a £15 million fee plus add-ons for four-cap Wales international Joe Rodon.
Both the Premier League side and the Championship outfit had been at loggerheads throughout Deadline Day.
However, things have begun to fall into place after Wolves centre-back Ryan Bennett headed to Swansea for a medical.
There will now be a race against time for the north Londoners and the South Wales-based side to complete a deal, which will presumably require an extension seeing as we’ve already passed the 5pm deadline.
Rodon looks likely to join the likes of Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Carlos Vinicius and Joe Hart as Jose Mourinho’s latest recruits for Tottenham.

TalkSPORT add that Spurs have been chasing the Swansea academy graduate for some time now.
They look to have finally landed their man right at the very last moment.

Rodon looks to be a very fine prospect indeed, and will compete with the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez for a place in Mourinho’s starting eleven.
He also knows Bale and Ben Davies well, having spent time with the ex-Southampton forward and the ex-Swansea left-back under Ryan Giggs while on international duty.
In that respect, settling in presumably shouldn’t be a problem for Rodon.
