Tottenham Hotspur could look at Steve Cooper as a potential replacement for Jose Mourinho, the Telegraph report.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new manager, and it could be that the club swing away from the tried and tested method.
Mourinho remains one of the highest profile managers in world football, but he did not work out at Tottenham.
There is now a sense that Spurs could appoint a less proven boss this time around, and Cooper is apparently admired.
The 41-year-old boss had had success coaching England’s youth squads and now has done an impressive job at Swansea, playing stylish football.
He would, however, be making a huge step up by moving to Tottenham.

Cooper is totally unproven with managing players with big reputations and his appointment may not enthuse Spurs fans.
The Telegraph do suggest that Julian Nagelsmann remains Tottenham’s first choice, but Cooper’s name being admired is certainly an interesting development, in a story which could rumble on for some time, with Levy seemingly in no rush to find a replacement.
