Torino are reportedly interested in a move for the Sunderland midfielder.
Sunderland’s Emanuele Giaccherini
Serie A side Torino are ready to make a move for Sunderland outcast Emanuele Giaccherini this summer, reports Gianluca di Marzio.
The midfielder has spent the season out on loan with Bologna, where he largely impressed. He was a regular for Roberto Donadoni’s side, making 28 appearances in total and scoring seven goals, more than he has managed in his entire time with the Black Cats.

Bologna are keen to have him back on a permanent basis, and it seems they are not the only Serie A looking at a move.
Lazio and Fiorentina have both been credited with an interest in the past and now Torino have also joined the race, according to Gianluca di Marzio.
As far as they are concerned, the club has already begun to make moves towards signing him on a permanent basis.

They fail to name a potential price for his services, although a recent report from CalcioMercato stated a fee of €2 million, around £1.5 million.
That could be tempting for Sunderland, with the player’s contract expiring in 2017 and him unlikely to sign a new deal with the Black Cats.
