According to the Birmingham Mail, West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is likely to ask about his January transfer budget when he meets with owner Guochuan Lai this weekend.
West Brom officially confirmed that Chinese businessman Lai had completed his takeover of the club back in September, after something of a protracted wrangle over the summer.

Manager Pulis will have been frustrated to not have some extra investment in the final weeks of the transfer window, but he did manage to bring in Allan Nyom, Brendan Galloway, Hal Robson-Kanu and Nacer Chadli to strengthen his squad.
Pulis has seen his side win two of their seven Premier League games so far, and he has been attempting to strengthen his squad with free agents, but Momo Sissoko and Marouane Chamakh both failed to win deals after trials spells with the club.

Pulis is set to meet Lai this weekend as West Brom take on Tottenham Hotspur at The Hawthorns, and the Birmingham Mail report that he is hoping to learn more about his transfer budget for the January transfer window.
The Baggies boss will understandably want considerable funds having missed out on midfielders Ignacio Camacho and William Carvalho at the end of August.

It’s stated that chairman John Williams will push for Pulis to be given considerable money to spend in January, with the West Brom manager described as being ‘frustrated’ with the summer spending.
That should appease Pulis, who will be looking to add more quality to his side as West Brom seek to kick on this season.
