The Sunderland defender is set to leave the club on a permanent basis.

Sunderland defender Tom Beadling is set to leave the club permanently and sign for Dunfermline.
Beadling’s Sunderland contract expires at the end of the season and the 22-year-old is set to secure his departure from the Stadium of Light before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night, as reported by Chronicle Live.
The centre-back has regularly captained Sunderland at U23 level this season but he has found it difficult to break into the first-team and is poised to leave the club without having made a competitive senior appearance.

Beadling, who can also play as a central midfielder or at right-back if required, gained valuable experience during a loan spell with Bury in League One last season.
The youngster has been an unused substitute for the Sunderland first-team on several occasions, but his move to Dunfermline represents an excellent opportunity for him to play regularly and to show what he is capable of.

Dunfermline are currently in fourth place in the Scottish Championship and are determined to secure promotion to the top tier, with Beadling now poised to aid them in their quest to go up.
