The Belgian has been brilliant since joining the Premier League side.
Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld
A report in the Daily Mirror has claimed that Toby Alderweireld is set to become the next star to commit their long-term future to Tottenham Hotspur by signing a new contract.
The Mirror reports that the 27-year-old still has three years left on his current deal at White Hart Lane, but Daniel Levy wants to reward him for his brilliant spell with the club by extending those terms further.
Dele Alli is one of a number of players to agree a new deal recently
The Mirror adds that the Belgian would join several of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad by putting pen to paper to extend an already long-term deal, with Harry Kane, Kyle Walker, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli being amongst those who have already done so recently.
And it appears that he may not be the last with Hugo Lloris also set to sign a new contract, the Mirror reports.

Alderweireld’s new deal would undoubtedly provide a major boost to the club. The former Atletico Madrid man has been sensational since joining.
He has started every Premier League game, and proved hugely important as Pochettino’s men put themselves in the title picture last term.
And with the core of that squad all set to stay for years to come, it appears that Spurs will have many more opportunities to land the title in the future.
