It looks like Celtic might be closer to signing Timothy Weah.

It looks like Celtic’s move for Timothy Weah might finally be reaching a conclusion.
Gianluca DiMarzio reported on Saturday night that Celtic have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign the 19-year-old on a half-season loan.
That view was reinforced by France Football, which also reported last night that Weah would sign a new one-year extension with the Ligue 1 giants prior to joining the Hoops.
The report adds that Weah – son of the iconic George Weah – will undergo his medical in Glasgow either today or tomorrow, and meet up with former PSG team-mate Odsonne Edouard.
Edouard joined Celtic on a season-long loan from the big-spending French outfit, before making the move permanent last summer, but France Football claims that a long-term stint at Parkhead will not be on the cards for the USA international.
If those reports weren’t evidence enough, Weah, who has already started following various Celtic players on social media, posted numerous ‘waving hands’ alongside a picture of the PSG dressing room yesterday, to indicate he is saying goodbye for now.
At this juncture it would be a massive shock if the striker didn’t wind up joining Brendan Rodgers’s side.
