Reports in Australia are suggesting that QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo is a January transfer target for three Premier League teams.

It is reported by SBS’ the World Game that the trio of Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough are all interested in signing the player.

Palace are looking to constantly improve their side and another central midfielder is believed to be a priority for the Eagles this winter.

West Brom undoubtedly would like to add some energy to their midfield area, where they are slightly short.

Meanwhile Middlesbrough look like they will be down the wrong end of the Premier League table this season and Luongo would add some bite to their midfield.

The good news for QPR fans and the bad news for Palace, West Brom and Middlesbrough is that the report also suggests that Luongo is not set to force any sort of exit from Loftus Road in the weeks to come.

He is contracted at the club until the end of next season and is happy at Loftus Road.

But if QPR are not in the promotion hunt come January, the Premier League trio may have a chance of plucking him away from the club.
