Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is likely to seal a permanent exit from the North London club today, The Sun claim (09:25).
Carter-Vickers has been sent out on a series of loan spells by Tottenham in recent seasons, and he has generally impressed in the Championship.
However, Tottenham have continued to starve him of first-team opportunities, even after Jan Vertonghen labelled him as a ‘real defender’ (ESPN).
While Japhet Tanganga has broken in Spurs’s senior squad under Jose Mourinho, Carter-Vickers has failed to follow in his teammate’s footsteps.
And it seems that Spurs are now preparing to offload Carter-Vickers today.

Luton, Bournemouth and Swansea City are all keen on the American international, with Tottenham now negotiating an exit price.
Spurs are unlikely to receive massive money for Carter-Vickers, but they will be keen to receive a small fee to recoup some of the expenditure they have spent on incoming additions this summer.
