Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace all think Jurgen Klopp is about to let Rhian Brewster leave Liverpool, the Telegraph suggest.

The Premier League trio are all battling to sign Brewster from Liverpool, and they are expecting movement in the near future.

It was expected that Brewster may be allowed to leave Liverpool on loan, but the latest update actually suggests that he could move on a permanent deal.

If a club were to pay £20 million for the youngster, the Telegraph suggest that Klopp may be tempted to accept the bid.

That would be a rather shocking development, given Brewster’s brilliant form out on loan at Swansea City.

The Reds academy graduate became one of the most prolific scorers at Championship level after January last term.

A loan move surely, therefore, looks more likely, although it seems there is a growing belief among interested parties that Liverpool may be open to doing a deal in the near future.

Brewster was tipped for a bright future by Steven Gerrard at Liverpool way back in 2017, when he called the youngster ‘magnificent’ in the Liverpool Echo.

And all the signs so far have suggested that Brewster could well have a long career ahead of him at Anfield.

However, he would be given more regular game time if he was to move, and that may make a transfer appealing, after he gained a taste of senior action at Swansea City last season.
