According to The Athletic, there is a growing fear at Newcastle United that Joe Willock’s value has rocketed in recent weeks.
Willock, signed on loan from Arsenal in the January transfer window, has become the youngster Premier League player to score in six successive matches.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly rates the youngster highly, but the Gunners have a decision to make on his future this summer.
Although Newcastle want to keep the 21-year-old at St. James’ Park next season, there is ‘a growing fear’ at the club that the youngster’s ‘value has rocketed’.
Described as “magnificent” by former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood on Premier League Productions earlier this month, Willock has been absolutely brilliant for Steve Bruce’s side.
The 21-year-old midfielder has scored seven goals in 10 Premier League starts for the Magpies.

Willock himself will have a big decision to make this summer.
The youngster is flourishing a Newcastle, and with a proper pre-season, he will only get better and be more influential at the Magpies.
However, the chance to go back to Arsenal and try to establish himself in the first team is also very tempting.
