Everton may be willing to part ways with Gylfi Sigurdsson this summer.

According to The Mirror, Everton may axe winger Theo Walcott this summer as director of football Marcel Brands prepares to offload older players for younger talents.
The Toffees have shown signs of progress under Marco Silva of late, but Brands faces another big summer as he attempts to boost the squad at Goodison Park.
Fans are keen to see a right-sided winger arrive, with Richarlison filling in there now, and that may just lead to Walcott making an exit come the end of the season.
Walcott, 30, only joined Everton from Arsenal in January 2018, with Sam Allardyce luring him to Merseyside on a deal worth £100,000-a-week (Spotrac).
So far, it’s fair to say Walcott hasn’t been worth the money. This season, he has notched just three goals and two assists in the Premier League, with no attacking output in 2019.
Now, The Mirror report that Brands is looking to bring in young talents and offload older players at Everton, with Walcott primed for the chopping block as a result.

It’s noted that Southampton – Walcott’s first club – are still keen on signing him, having missed out on a deal last January, when he signed for Everton instead.
Yet sitting on a £100,000-a-week deal with two more years left on it, Walcott may not be quite so easy to shift for Everton and Brands this summer.
