Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale is stepping up his work in training, as he edges closer to fitness, the Daily Mail report.
In an encouraging fitness update, the Mail suggest that the Tottenham attacker is now back in full training, with the prospect of him playing for Jose Mourinho’s side getting closer and closer.
Spurs supporters can barely contain their excitement over seeing Bale in their starting line-up again, but they have had to be patient since his return.
The Welsh international has been nursing an injury, and has been unfit to play for Spurs to date.
However, the Mail’s latest update suggests that he will be available for selection sooner rather than later.

Bale actually faces a fight to win a space in Tottenham’s starting line-up right now, as dropping any attacker after their 6-1 demolition of Manchester United would be extremely harsh.
But Mourinho will surely want to get Bale in his team sooner rather than later, as the prospect of seeing him working alongside an in-form Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son is a tantalising one.
Tottenham’s first game back after the international break comes against West Ham United.
