According to Meczyki, Mateusz Bogusz will not be at Leeds United next season and is working on a move away from Elland Road.

Bogusz is on loan at UD Logrones at the moment, and although the youngster started the season well, he has not made a league start since February.

Legia Warsaw want to sign the 19-year-old attacking midfielder in the summer of 2021, according to the report, which has added that the teenager will not get the chance to play for Leeds next season and is prepared to make a move to the Polish club.

Talks are reportedly underway, but it is not clear whether the transfer to Legia will be permanent or a loan deal.

Leeds United future?

Bogusz is only 19 years of age, and it is too early to write off him at Leeds. There is still a future for the Poland Under-21 international at Elland Road.

Perhaps the Polish teenager should see how it goes in pre-season training under Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa and then take it from there.

Bielsa has spoken highly of the teenager before and used him in the Championship game against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in July 2020.

The Argentine subsequently told Leeds Live that the teenager is “more offensive than Shackleton and Gotts”.

Leeds are well stocked in attack at the moment, but there is always room for creative players who can help the team.
