Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly confident they’ll sign Tanguy Ndombele.

According to Football.London, Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has told Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to join the club this summer.
Ndombele, 22, has impressed for Lyon since arriving from Amiens in 2017, becoming one of the best box-to-box midfielders in Europe.
The French international is now a man in demand off the back of his displays for Lyon, and he’s become Tottenham’s top target this summer.
Now, it’s claimed that Ndombele has told Spurs that he’s ready to join the club, meaning Tottenham have renewed confidence that a deal will be struck.
If Spurs do sign Ndombele, then it will be a club-record deal. Sky Sports claim that Lyon want £63million for the midfielder, which would shatter the record spent on Davinson Sanchez two years ago.

Spurs will still have to discuss a deal with Lyon’s tough-negotiating president Jean-Michel Aulas, meaning we could still see a major wrangle in the coming weeks.
Tottenham fans will be encouraged though, as Ndombele is the ideal big-name signing for Spurs to make, and a perfect replacement for Mousa Dembele on the pitch, whilst his desire to join Spurs is a major signal of the club’s growing reputation around Europe.
