Premier League duo Manchester United and Spurs are both reportedly interested in signing Lyon’s Ligue 1 star Tanguy Ndombele.

Tanguy Ndombele has told Manchester United to forget about signing him this summer, according to TEAMtalk, with the Lyon star making it clear that he would rather join Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The French international is arguably the most coveted young midfielder in European football right now. And with Manchester United looking to bring future world class talent to Old Trafford, Ndombele has emerged as a top target with Paul Pogba expected to follow Ander Herrera out of the door.
United’s failure to qualify for the Champions League could have cost them dear, however, with TEAMtalk reporting that Ndombele has told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side that he wants to move to Tottenham rather than Old Trafford if he makes the move across the Channel.
Tottenham might not have the history of the traditional ‘allure’ of United but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are a team on the rise. They even reached the Champions League final last month and will be playing in Europe’s top competition once again in 2019/20 – unlike their rivals in the North West.

Interestingly, 22-year-old Ndombele spoke about the ongoing speculation linking him with Spurs on Sunday, telling Telefoot that the North London giants are a ‘great team’.
The Standard, meanwhile, claimed that Tottenham were confident of signing a player who should cost a club-record £60 million.
