The report adds Ndombele is set to travel to Spurs for a medical, and Tottenham hope to announce the deal this week.

The report, from French writer Laurens Julien, claims Ndombele has spoken to Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino several times.

Ndombele is an impressive player who will make Tottenham better at both ends of the pitch, in the same way Mousa Dembele did.
