Aston Villa are reportedly closing in on Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

According to ESPN, Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is closing in on a loan move to Aston Villa as Steve Bruce prepares to strengthen his squad.
Villa endured a frustrating summer given their early financial woes, but the investment of Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens has aided manager Bruce in the market.
John McGinn arrived before the transfer deadline, and now Villa are pursuing a host of loan signings, including Everton winger Yannick Bolasie and Lille wide man Anwar El Ghazi.
However, a centre forward is also wanted, and ESPN report that Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham is now closing in on a season-long loan move to Villa Park.
Manager Bruce is described as being ‘determined’ to land Abraham, and a deal now appears to be close for the giant striker to make a move to the West Midlands in the coming days.
Abraham, 20, has come up through the ranks with Chelsea having joined the club way back in 2004, but he is behind the likes of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud in the pecking order.

The England Under-21 international – who earned a senior cap back in November – spent last season on loan with Swansea City, scoring eight times in 39 games before returning to Chelsea.
Abraham’s Championship record is hugely impressive, as he scored 23 goals in 41 games for Bristol City in the 2016-17 season, and Villa will be hoping for similar success if they deal does go through.
