Tottenham Hotspur are now being talked up as a possible destination for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.
Mauricio Pochettino may not want Joao Felix at Chelsea but he could still end up in London with Tottenham Hotspur.
That is according to Onda Cero, who suggest that Aston Villa and Tottenham could move to sign Felix this summer.
It’s claimed that Pochettino has already decided that he doesn’t want Felix at Chelsea next season.
The Blues took Felix on loan for the second half of the season but the Portugal international blew hot and cold.
Parent club Atletico Madrid are now desperate to find a new destination for Felix ahead of the new season.
It’s claimed that there are ‘no offers’ on the table right now but Villa and Tottenham ‘could be interested’ in Felix.
The report adds that there is a problem – Felix wants to play in the Champions League and doesn’t want to look any lower.
Villa at least have Europa Conference League action but Tottenham aren’t in Europe at all.
Neither club seems to be what Felix is looking for and we’re doubting a move to Tottenham anyway.

We can’t see Joao Felix at Tottenham Hotspur
Felix was once tipped for stardom after racking up 20 goals in 43 games for Benfica during the 2018-19 season.
Atletico paid more than £100million to sign Felix in the belief that they were signing Europe’s next big thing.
Four years on, Felix is yet to really live up to the billing despite showing encouraging signs at times.
Managers can’t seem to settle on Felix’s best position and the 23-year-old is in danger of letting his talent go to waste.
Tottenham may be in the market for another forward this summer but it’s hard to imagine Felix is their man.
Felix isn’t really a central striker and wouldn’t play ahead of Harry Kane and a natural number 10 like James Maddison seems to be higher on the radar.
Factor in the huge wages and we just can’t see Felix being a top priority for new boss Ange Postecoglou this summer, leaving the Atletico man in limbo.
