Celtic want to sign Motherwell’s David Turnbull, while Sheffield Wednesday are also reported to be interested in him.

According to The Scottish Sun, talks between Celtic and David Turnbull are ongoing.
Celtic recently released a statement on their official Twitter page stating that despite agreeing a deal with Motherwell over the transfer of Turnbull, they have not been able to come to an agreement with the midfielder’s agent.
The Glasgow giants stated that they will move on if the offer on the table is not accepted by Turnbull and his agent, but The Scottish Sun has claimed that talks between the Scottish Premiership and the Motherwell midfielder is going on.
Impact on Sheffield Wednesday
This reported twist regarding Turnbull does have an impact on Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship in England.

According to The Scottish Sun, the Owls are ready to make a £3 million bid for the Scotland Under-21 international.
However, if talks between the Hoops and the 19-year-old midfielder are going on, then it means that Wednesday will not have it their way in regarding to signing the youngster and will still have to compete with Celtic for the teenager’s signature.
