Reports in Italy this week are suggesting that Aston Villa’s long-protracted takeover has ruined their chances of signing Bosnian talent Tino Sven-Susic this summer.
Calcio News 24 are reporting that Aston Villa’s new manager was due to run his rule over the potential signature of the Hajduk Split midfield talent.

With no end currently in sight to the long-winded Villa ownership and management debacle it is suggested Susic is moving on and already has other offers on the table – including from La Liga and Serie A.
If this does prove to be the case, then Villa have missed a trick.

Susic is a top talent and already has eight caps for the Bosnia national team.
He had an exceptional campaign in Croatia last term, scoring 15 goals in 37 appearances from midfield, and Villa seemed to be in pole position to snap up the talented maestro.

Now it looks as though Susic will be finding his way to Italy for the future, with Calcio News 24 certain this will be his destination.
Aston Villa were originally linked with the midfielder by the Daily Mail in May – with a £4 million fee being mooted.
