West Ham United winger Andre Ayew has been linked with Swansea City on January transfer deadline day.

It has been reported that Swansea expect to secure the services of Ayew today for a fee of £18 million, breaking their transfer record in the process.
The Hammers reportedly rejected the Swans’ bid of £14 million for the 28-year-old winger last weekend, but the Welsh club are claimed to have improved their offer.
According to the report, Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal has blocked West Ham’s attempt to sign Ki Sung-yueng as part of the deal.

Ayew joined West Ham from Swansea in the summer of 2016 and was expected to be a huge success at the London Stadium.
The Ghana international winger, though, has had injury concerns at the Hammers, and when he has played, he has not looked great.

Given the success that the 28-year-old enjoyed at Swansea, it would make sense for the former Marseille star to return to the Liberty Stadium.
The winger scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 34 Premier League appearances for Swansea during the 2015-16 season.
