Swansea City, Queens Park Rangers and Reading have a ‘specific, serious interest’ in Rajiv van la Parra, according to Voetbal International.
Van la Parra is a free agent after leaving Red Star Belgrade and it is claimed that he wants to return to England, where his half-brother Gini Wijnaldum currently plays, for Liverpool.
The Dutch winger previously spent time with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as Middlesbrough and Huddersfield Town – two of Swansea, QPR and Reading’s Championship rivals.
He was directly involved in 21 goals in 114 games in the English second tier, and in three in 11 for Red Star – his previous employers for whom he played Champions League football last season.
Voetbal International claims that clubs in other countries are also keen on Van la Parra, naming Pachuca in Mexico and PEC Zwolle in his native Netherlands.
But he is said to have ‘patiently waited’ for another chance in English football.
Swansea, QPR and Reading all have until 5pm to conclude deals for players from other domestic clubs.
But since Van la Parra has been a free agent since April, he could still make a move after the deadline passes.
