Swansea City could be about to see of competition from clubs in England, Scotland and France.

Swansea City are leading the race to sign Youssouf Mulumbu despite interest from clubs in England, Scotland and France, according to the Sun.
The newspaper claims Swansea have held positive talks with Mulumbu, who is a free agent after leaving Kilmarnock at the end of last season, and could conclude a deal within the next few days.
The Congo midfielder previously spent eight years in England with West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City, the bulk of which as a Premier League player.
But last season’s reunion with Steve Clarke, Mulumbu’s former West Brom manager, looks to have revived his career after Norwich let him go.

Both Celtic and Rangers were linked with moves for Mulumbu earlier in the summer, while the Sun credits Bordeaux, alongside unnamed Championship and Scottish clubs, with interest.
Having sold Sam Clucas and failed to sign Ryan Woods – both of whom joined Stoke City earlier this month – Swansea find themselves light in Mulumbu’s position ahead of Friday’s deadline for loans and free transfers.

Would Mulumbu be a good signing for Swansea City?
