Swansea City are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for Renato Sanches.
The report adds that Swansea will pay a loan fee to Bayern Munich for the Portuguese international, with the fee to be in excess of £2 million.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined Munich last season from Benfica, but has struggled to get regular games under Carlo Ancelotti.
The Portugal international, who has won Euro Championships with his country in 2016, has been given the green light to move out on loan this summer.
Sanches will be a terrific signing for the Swans. He will bring depth and quality to the side, and his signing will not only boost Swansea’s chances of survival but also perform well above expectations.
Paul Clement has the money to spend, following Gylfi Sigurdsson’s move to Everton, and they have moved in with a fantastic loan offer that Bayern may find hard to refuse.
Also, Bayern want the youngster to further his development by playing under a trusted coach, and thus, a move to Wales on the transfer deadline day is on the cards.
