Leeds United boss Garry Monk may have to fend off his former side’s advances.
Swansea City are the latest Premier League club to show interest in Leeds United striker Chris Wood, according to ESPN.
The same source reported on Monday that West Ham United and Sunderland had also considered the 17-goal New Zealand international, but were put off by Leeds’ reported £15 million asking price.
It remains to be seen whether Swansea have the funds to tempt the Whites into a sale, and whether Wood would be keen on a move to the top flight’s bottom side, especially with his current employers sitting third in the Championship.

That said, selling Wood to Swansea could have its benefits. Jacks defender Kyle Bartley is impressing on loan at Elland Road, and it is possible the Welsh side could look include the 25-year-old in any deal for his teammate.
Swansea also have a couple of strikers of their own who might be of interest to Leeds – one of whom, Marvin Emnes, was signed by Whites boss Garry Monk while in charge at the Liberty Stadium.
The Dutchman has, however, played for both Blackburn Rovers and Swansea’s Under-23s this season, which could prevent him turning out for a third club before the summer.
That would be no such issue for Swansea’s Borja Baston, though, who could be loaned out this month, despite only moving to Wales in a £15 million deal from Atletico Madrid in the summer.

According to a report in this week’s Sunday People, the Spaniard is wanted on loan by Leeds’ promotion rivals Brighton & Hove Albion – an incentive, perhaps, for the Yorkshire side to pounce if Wood is sold.
