Swansea City reportedly see West Brom winger Nacer Chadli as the ideal replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson.
After a turbulent pre-season, it would be a big surprise if Nacer Chadli was still a West Brom player before the end of the transfer window.
According to The Sun, Baggies boss Tony Pulis is open to the idea of selling the Belgian international, who became the club’s record signing when he arrived from Tottenham for £13 million just last summer.

Chadli was omitted from West Brom’s pre-season tour of Austria after a heated row with Pulis and the report adds that he could be offered a lifeline by Swansea City, who are looking for a replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson after the Icelandic international completed his move to Eveton.
The report adds that West Brom would want £25 million for the winger, meaning Swansea would have to smash their transfer record by offering £10 million more than they paid Atletico Madrid for ill-fitting striker Borja Baston last summer.
However, with £45 million burning a hole in their pocket following Sigurdsson’s sale, there’s no doubt they would have the funds to complete a deal.

Chadli, who arrived in English football with Tottenham as part of the now infamous recruitment drive following Gareth Bale’s 2013 move to Real Madrid, scored five times and set up another five for West Brom last season.
Whether the winger can replace Sigurdsson, who set up the second most goals in the Premier League in 2016/17, remains to be seen.
