Report: Suso not for sale say AC Milan as Spurs consider £22m bid

AC Milan tell Tottenham and any other interested party that Suso is not for sale.

AC Milan have issued a hands-off warning to any club interested in signing Suso and will open negotiations over a new contract with the player very soon, according to Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb.

Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be among those looking to sign the former Liverpool man, along with Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Roma.

The Sun have even reported that Spurs have already had a £20m bid for the winger rejected and are set to come back with an improved £22m offer.

Yet Milan are holding firm and after also fending off interest in goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and tying the youngster down to a new deal, the Serie A club are looking to do the same with Suso.

Under new Chinese ownership, the Rossoneri have already spent big this summer bringing in the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Andre Silva, Andrea Conti, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez and Lucas Biglia, and want to show they are no longer a selling club.

Suso is considered a big part of manager Vincenzo Montella’s plans going forward after scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists in 37 games in all competitions last season.
