Everton boss Marco Silva is said to be keen to bring David Neres to Goodison Park.

Everton face paying £90 million for target David Neres, according to Marcel van der Kraan on the Sky Sports transfer talk podcast.

The Telegraph have suggested that Everton want to sign Neres, who Marco Silva feels would enhance his attack at Goodison Park.

However, Ajax don’t want to lose the attacker and have slapped a huge price-tag on the Brazilian.

Everton would now have to pay between £80 and £90 million for the forward, which surely rules them out of the running.

Everton may have considerable financial strength nowadays, but investing such a large fee in Neres is surely not something Silva’s side will consider.

It means Everton could face missing out on Neres, which could be a disappointment.

Neres would have been a hugely exciting addition at Goodison Park, but it seems that the winger is just too expensive at this moment in time.
