It is claimed Alli split with Rob Segal – who has represented Alli since the midfielder was 15 years old – last month, and is wanted by Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola, both of whom have strong connections within Europe’s elite clubs.

Mendes’ most high profile domestic clients include Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, Chelsea striker Diego Costa and several Manchester City players, while Raiola has taken Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku to United all within the past 15 months.

But the pair are also described as being ‘well placed to facilitate a move’ to one of Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Nevertheless, the Times reports that Tottenham’s chairman Daniel Levy will not sell Alli until Spurs have spent at least one season in their new stadium, which is scheduled to open in summer 2018.
Still only 21, Alli has five years left on his contract in north London, but is ‘likely’ to be given a new one this campaign, according to the report.
