Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic are reportedly interested in Sunderland’s Josh Maja.

It has been reported that Maja, who is out of contract at Sunderland at the end of the season, will cost around £500,000 in development fee.
The report, though, has claimed that the Black Cats are keen on selling the youngster in the January transfer window and strike a deal to have him on loan.
Moussa Dembele 2.0
Celtic did strike a similar deal with Moussa Dembele, who left the Hoops for Lyon in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £19.7 million.
The Hoops signed the striker on a free transfer in the summer of 2016 following his departure from Fulham at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic had to pay Fulham a development fee of £500,000 for Dembele, who was hugely successful during his spell at Celtic Park.

Stats
Maja is one of the best young players in League One and is playing well for Sunderland at the moment.
The 20-year-old forward has made 21 starts and two substitute appearances in the league for the Black Cats so far this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
