Sunderland are reportedly interested in Will Grigg of Wigan Athletic.

It has been reported that League One outfit Sunderland want striker Grigg on loan from Championship side Wigan.

Grigg has made 10 starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for Wigan so far this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
The 27-year-old striker is not having the best of times this season, but the Northern Ireland international has a brilliant record at the League One level.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the striker scored 19 goals and provided four assists in 43 League One appearances for Wigan during the 2017-18 season.
Back in 2015-16, Grigg scored 25 goals and provided six assists in 40 League One matches for the Latics, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
With Sunderland aiming to finish in the top two of the League One table this season, Grigg will be a brilliant signing for Jack Ross’s side in their quest to win automatic promotion to the Championship.
