Sunderland and Crystal Palace are among the sides interested in Hakeeb Adelakun after his brilliant season in League One.
Hakeeb Adelakun
Adelakun has been excellent for the League One side this season, helping Graham Alexander’s men put themselves within touching distance of the automatic-promotion spots in the division.
Chris Coleman
Only one player in the league has provided more assists than the nine that the 21-year-old has contributed this term, and unsurprisingly, the Mail reports that interest in the youngster is growing.

Scunthorpe want £1 million for Adelakun, the Mail adds, but perhaps the chasing pack may try their luck with a lower bid – if they do indeed make an offer – as he is out of contract at the end of the season at Glanford Park so could end up moving for a nominal fee.
If Sunderland were able to land the former Eagles trainee and he was able to replicate the form that he is currently showing in the third tier, it would undoubtedly do their chances of survival in the Championship the world of good, but it certainly appears that they will have several hurdles to clear before they can get a deal across the line with a number of teams also keen.
