Sunderland have reportedly earmarked Leicester City’s Leonardo Ulloa as a primary target going into the final days of the January window.
A report in The Sun has suggested that Sunderland are preparing to make an £11 million bid for Leicester City forward Leonardo Ulloa as David Moyes tries to bolster his options during the final days of the transfer window.
The Sun reports that the 30-year-old – who played an important role in the Foxes’ title-winning campaign last year – now wants to leave the King Power Stadium having enjoyed little game time for Claudio Ranieri’s men this term.

And it seems that the Black Cats are ready to offer him a way out before next week’s deadline as The Sun adds that they are looking to negotiate a deal for the former Brighton man that could involve the eight-figure fee.

Whether that will be enough to land Ulloa remains to be seen, but Sunderland fans will be desperately hoping that there is some transfer activity at the Stadium of Light before the end of the month.
Their only addition this month has been Joleon Lescott. And Black Cats supporters will surely be concerned that letting the deadline come and go without getting more bodies in could be extremely costly in their battle for Premier League survival.
