Sunderland could well be without their manager David Moyes for their visit to Bournemouth, with the Scot set for a touchline ban.
Sunderland manager David Moyes is expected to accept a one-match touchline ban, meaning he will be in the stands for this weekend’s visit to Bournemouth, the Daily Mirror are reporting.
The Black Cats remain the only side in the Premier League without a victory this season and will now be without Moyes as he will be punished by the Football Association for misconduct, after arguing with Chris Kavanagh.
Referee Kavanagh, rejected Moyes’ appeal for a stoppage-time penalty for Sunderland against Southampton in an EFL Cup tie last week.

And the Daily Mirror claims that Moyes would rather accept a one-match touchline suspension, than risk being banned for two games, if he were to lose an appeal, which would see him miss the fixture with Hull City.
The newspaper also reports that Moyes is under pressure after Sunderland set a record for the worst start by any side to a Premier League season.

Striker Jermain Defoe has told his team-mates to forget what critics are saying and concentrate on gaining their first victory.
He told the Daily Mirror: “Obviously the mood is low. We have to forget about records. Ten games without a win, it doesn’t matter. So what? You have got to deal with the good and bad.
“You have to forget what people are saying and stick together. If we can get the first win the whole atmosphere and mood will change. We have to pick ourselves up and be men.”
