Sam Allardyce has reportedly returned from a pre-season training camp in Austria to push through an unknown deal.

According to the Shield’s Gazette, Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has left the club’s pre-season training camp in Austria to try to speed up talks with a transfer target.
The Black Cats boss is keen to add to his squad this summer to ensure they are not fighting relegation again next season.
It has so far been a frustrating transfer window for him though, with no new signings having arrived at the club as yet.

Sunderland had been close to a deal for former Newcastle United full back Davide Santon before a disagreement with Inter Milan ended that move.
Allardyce has already spoken of his frustration at the lack of movement, and as a result the Shield’s Gazette reports that he has flown back from Austria to try to seal another deal.
And that man could be Leicester City star Danny Simpson, who the Mirror report is a £4 million target for Sam Allardyce’s side.
The right-back spot is one Sunderland are keen to strengthen, with DeAndre Yedlin having returned to Tottenham Hotspur after his loan spell last season.
Simpson has just one year left on his deal with the Premier League champions and is yet to sign a new contract. That has alerted Allardyce, who is reportedly keen on doing a surprise deal and solving a major headache in one fell swoop.
