Sunderland are reportedly pushing for Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones.

According to the Daily Mail, Sunderland have now opened talks with Kilmarnock about a potential deal for winger Jordan Jones.
The Black Cats have been busy strengthening their squad for new manager Jack Ross, bringing in the likes of Jon McLaughlin, Tom Flanagan, Alim Ozturk, Reece James, Dylan McGeouch and Chris Maguire have all arrived at the Stadium of Light.
However, Sunderland are continuing to pursue more signings, and a new winger appears to be on the radar, with Ross using his knowledge of Scottish football to try and boost his side.
Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones has been linked with Sunderland of late, and the Daily Mail now report that talks have now been opened with the Scottish Premiership club about a deal.
Jones, 23, hit four goals in 43 games for Kilmarnock last season, and whilst he drew interest from Rangers in January, he ended the season with Steve Clarke’s side.
Now, the Northern Ireland international is wanted once again, and former St Mirren boss Ross is looking to lure him to Wearside ahead of the new League One season.

A former Middlesbrough youngster, Jones would be making a return to the North East if he joins Sunderland, and that may well be appealing to the pacey wide man.
With Sunderland pursuing another former Middlesbrough talent in Charlie Wyke, Ross appears to be targeting players who know the region – and Jones would be a major coup given Championship interest in recent months.
