Sunderland reportedly want to sign Will Grigg from Wigan Athletic in the January transfer window.

It has also been reported that League One club Sunderland are confident of signing Grigg from Championship side Wigan in the January transfer window.
The Black Cats reportedly made the second offer for the Northern Ireland international striker after their initial bid of £250,000 was turned down by Wigan.
According to The Northern Echo, Grigg is keen on a move to Sunderland this month and is frustrated at his lack of playing time at Wigan this season.

Stunning signing for Sunderland
Grigg may not be playing regularly for Wigan in the Championship this season, but the 27-year-old is a proven goalscorer at the League One level and will be a stunning signing for Sunderland in the January transfer window.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the striker scored 19 goals and provided four assists in 43 League One appearances for Wigan during the 2017-18 season.
Back in 2015-16, Grigg scored 25 goals and provided six assists in 40 League One matches for the Latics, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
