Sunderland are one of three League One sides reportedly chasing the Preston North End striker.

Sunderland are one of three League One clubs being credited with interest in the Preston North End striker Eoin Doyle by the Irish Sun.
The newspaper claims Doyle is one of four Irish players who fail to feature in Alex Neil’s plans for the coming campaign, along with Daryl Horgan, Andy Boyle and Kevin O’Connor.
And Sunderland, along with Scunthorpe United and Fleetwood Town, are said to be keen to get him on board.
According to the Irish Sun, Preston are looking for £250,000 for Doyle, who is out of contract at Deepdale next summer.
Sunderland are down to just two senior – albeit inexperienced – strikers, Joel Asoro and Josh Maja.

And Doyle, who scored 14 goals in 30 League One games while on loan to Oldham last season, could be a useful addition for new Mackems boss Jack Ross.
Ross has yet to make his first acquisition since joining from St Mirren, but is close to changing that according to owner Stewart Donald.
Would the Preston striker be a good signing for Sunderland?
