Sunderland are among the clubs reportedly interested in departing Manchester United striker James Wilson.

It has been reported that United will release Wilson at the month, and that Scottish club Aberdeen have made an offer to the 23-year-old.
The striker spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Aberdeen from Premier League giants United, making 12 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership, scoring four goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
The Daily Record has also claimed that Preston North End in the Championship and Sunderland in League One in England are also interested in securing the services of the former England Under-21 international – who earns £20,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

Previous interest
This is not the first time that Sunderland have been linked with a move for Wilson.
Back in August 2018, The Sunderland Echo claimed of interest from the Black Cats to secure the services of the 23-year-old striker on loan from United.
